Heat oil in pot and sate onions until transparent. Add
the okra stirring frequently. Cook under med-high for 5 minutes. Add
remaining ingredients except for the lemon. Lower burner to medium.
Allow to cook for another 25-30 minutes until okra is soft and no longer
sticky. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and turn off. Allow to sit
five minutes before serving. Serves 4 to 6
